GENELEC 8040A SPEAKERS

GENELEC 8040A are two-way active monitoring speakers designed to produce high SPL output, low coloration and high bandwidth in a small package size. They are suitable for a wide variety of tasks, such as near-field surveillance, mobile vans, broadcast and television control rooms, surround sound systems and home studios. Designed as active speakers, they contain speakers, power amplifiers, active crossover filters and protection circuits. Minimum Diffraction Enclosure ™ (MDE ™) and Advanced Directivity Control Waveguide ™ (DCW ™) technologies provide excellent frequency balance even in harsh acoustic environments.
