This kit includes all the main components necessary to control the focus of your wireless lens with precision and power. Unlike other products that rely on a specific combination of camera or lens, the microRemote is a universal focusing solution that works on virtually all cameras and lenses. This is all the more useful as your needs and the cameras evolve with each project or even with each shot.

With the Redrock Torque motor, you can combine the microRemote with almost any combination of lens and camera: it is not limited to a particular camera body or type of lens. The microRemote portable wireless unit controls the motor via the base station and provides precise and fast focusing that was previously only found in expensive, high-end professional focusing units.

The microRemote Basestation offers advanced features for automatic lens calibration or, if you are using DSLR lenses with “infinite rotation” focus rings, you can calibrate the limit switches manually. The base station also provides centralized power to the motors and the microTape (if applicable).

The microRemote can be used in almost any situation where it is difficult to get focus directly from the camera: steadicam, jib arm, cranes or simply to have additional space. In situations where wireless may not be possible or permitted, the optional link cable links the microRemote for direct, interference-free operation.

This set is also fully upgradeable to our wired controller options. Just add the inexpensive digital wheel controller and the system is ready to use for operator-controlled focus on a portable platform, or as another control option for arms and cranes.
